With January over it feels like 2017 is finally in full swing, I've been thinking about the kind of things I'd like to achieve this year and what I think I can realistically do. I'm the kind of person who loves making resolutions, anything in list form and I'm all over it, however I always read back on them in December and think really? how was I planning to do that! So these are less of resolutions and more just goals, I'm putting plans in place for these things and it's actually far more exciting knowing I can actually achieve these!
DRIVING
It's no secret that I'm not the most confident driver and had given up on taking my test a couple of years ago to focus on uni and my internships. With graduation looming and the thought of being an actual adult crossing my mind a thousand times a day I'm determined to give driving another go. My younger sister passed back in December and I'm more than a little bit envious of her new found freedom. I'm planning to take my theory test in the next couple of months and then sometime over the summer once all my exams are out the way and I'm more settled I'd really like to give it another proper go. This time however I think I'm going to try an automatic test rather than a manual to take some of the pressure off and hopefully make my test less of a stressful experience. Wish me luck!

TRAVEL
My parents are amazing at taking my sister and I to some of the most beautiful places and I feel so lucky to have travelled so much so young. However it crossed my mind over Christmas that I've never actually travelled without my family, and although they are the ultimate travel companions I'd really like to stretch my legs a little and travel somewhere new and exciting with a friend or on my own. At new year I wrote a list of places I'd like to visit before I'm 30. With 8 and a half years to go I think I'd better get cracking. Some of the places on my travel wish list are Budapest, Iceland, Santorini and Stockholm. Those are a few that are closer to home, but I'd love to give it a go. If anyone has any travel posts for any of the above locations please let me know!

The main highlight of this is of course going to be graduating and after that finding a job, because my experience and degree both point me towards digital marketing I'm looking at agencies in several UK cities. It's a terrifying mix of excitement and terror that the second half of this year could really take my anywhere. I think I'll be moving back to my parents home after graduation, at least so I can find my feet and get some money behind me, but eventually I'd love to move to London, but after my many evenings getting lost in Zoopla I know that's a long way off.
