Summer Makeup Edit

Having recently started my new job I've been needing my makeup to last that little bit longer, I tend to have combination skin with oil on my t zone, so it's important I don't have to keep topping up with powder all day because that can lead to a cakey finish and I'm not a fan of that.

Today I'm bringing you my summer makeup all stars, the heavy weights that give me a natural everyday makeup look without being super heavy.
Base - For my foundation I tend to pick either my Estee Lauder Double wear in Dessert Beige or Rimmel Match Perfect in True Ivory. Both of these give great coverage, with the Rimmel pick being slightly dewier option, I like to fake tan my body during summer so having foundation options that are blendable is really important. For my under eyes and any blemishes I'm obsessed with the Maybelline age rewind concealer, this little sponge gives a seriously good amount of coverage. Weirdly enough I originally bought one whilst over in the states, and loved it, repurchased it in the UK and the difference in coverage is amazing! The UK version of the same product has such a different formulation and is twice as good in my opinion. After foundation and concealer I set everything with my favourite L'Oreal matte powder and I'm set for the day.
Face - My two face products that I reach for everyday are my beloved Body Shop honey bronzer and the Tarte amazonian clay blush in blissful. These two last perfectly and blend together to create a glowy lightly contoured cheek.
Eyes - I like to keep things really simple, especially when it's warm. Normally it's a wash of Stila Kitten eyeshadow or Bootycall from Urban Decay, then I curl my lashes and apply a heavy coat of Maybelline the falsies mascara and I'm good to go.

I rarely wear lip products during the day, so at the very most I'll put on a little eos lip balm.

If anyone has any tips for making your foundation last longer during the summer let me know!
