So although I've not been posting as regularly I've been putting a lot of thought into this blog. With Christmas break speeding towards me I know I'm going to have more time to write some posts and to really get some good content going.

Right now things are busy, with deadlines and shifts at work I don't really have a lot of rest time. However I thought I'd share with you some of the things that have been on my radar recently.
Gingerbread lattes - I know it's early but as soon as it's winter I start drinking coffee more and more. As much as I'd love to be one of those people who are so sophisticated and drink espressos...I'm a big kid when it comes to coffee. I like it sweet and flavoured with loads of milk. I don't really need the caffeine *ask my family/boyfriend/anyone within a mile of me and they'll agree* but I love the taste.

Skirts - I was looking to mix up my wardrobe and I was just basically sick of wearing jeans so I started buying skirts. Thinking of course that I wouldn't like them, they wouldn't be practical. How wrong I was. Next have some gorgeous skirts this season and I picked up 3 that I've been wearing non stop. The three I picked up are all very different but that leaves me with a million different ways to wear them. I'm planning a whole post on how I style my skirts. Although I'm quite girly I don't often wear skirts day to day.

A foodie favourite is the Nescafe gingerbread lattes, these sachets mixes are great for keeping in my handbag and having that flavoured coffee experience without having to pay a premium by going to Costa or Starbucks, student life doesn't stretch to that. They're on offer at the minute in Tesco for 10 sachets for £1.80 which is pretty good value.

Clinique colour pop in nude pop - As a blonde finding the perfect nude lipstick is quite the mission, trying to get the balance of not washed out without being bright pink is harder than it seems. However when Glamour announced they were offering a mini size of the new clinique lipsticks with a nude option I figured why not give it a go. Long story short, I've worn it everyday for the last 2 weeks. The perfect nude it's a my-lips-but-better that's nourishing and wears really nicely on the lips. In the winter months I like to change up my makeup look from my typical pink lip and this has been a very welcome addition to my makeup bag. I can see the full size finding it's way into my makeup bag once I've used up my mini version.

So that's what's on my radar right now.
In light of the recent attacks in Paris. I want to take a moment to share my support for those families grieving their loved ones.
