With summer on our door steps that can only mean one thing! New product launches! I'm a high street girl through and through so I thought I'd show you what new products Ive got my eyes on and share my opinions on some new launches!
After watching a video from Fleur de Force recently I saw this amazing concealer. Light reflecting, full coverage, flawless, all words that are music to my ears. I hate darkness around my eyes and after swatching this I have to get my hands on it! It's super light in consistency but its bright in a non glittery way. I'm not a fan of highlighting face products that have a lot of glitter, I just don't find them very flattering however this concealer just looks bright, light and high coverage as it claims.

I read an amazing post this week about cleaning makeup brushes and using the lush shampoo bars. This seemed like a really interesting concept, Lush has become a new obsession of mine and I love their skincare. So if I'm treating my skin and keeping my skincare all organic surely my makeup brushes deserve the same. The shampoo bar I really want to try is the Jumping Juniper bar because it's great for deep cleaning and it has antibacterial properties, which will be perfect for getting all the dirt and makeup out my brushes.

I've always been a mascara girl and at the moment there's two on my radar that I really can't wait to try. After a blogger event at the Urban Decay counter in Selfridges, I was given a sample of the Perversion mascara and I'm hooked! Personally I like it much better than the Benefit they're real, because the effect you're left with is really fluttery and natural looking whilst giving you the effect of gorgeously full naturally voluminous lashes. It's not overly expensive for a high end brand like Urban Decay, at £18 I can see this finding it's way into my makeup bag very soon.

On the more affordable end of the scale, another product from Barry M has caught my eye. The showgirl mascara has an incredible looking wand. I tend to prefer non-plastic brushes but this looks so defined and the formula looks thin and really buildable. Talk Becky Talk from Youtube has raved about this for years and now that I've seen it in store myself it looks really promising.

My only MAC lipstick is a matte finish in the shade "please me" and I love it. I've had it for a couple years now and it's the perfect pink for me, however because of the matte finish I've been going off it recently or layering it with gloss. I think the time has come to invest in another one of these fab lippies. I've been pinteresting tonnes at the minute but I shade that I really like the look of is Syrup. It's a lustre finish that leaves your lips really plump and full looking. In terms of colour its a pink-nude with lavender undertones that looks perfectly wearable for everyday. My current MAC lipstick is very pigmented and quite hard to work with so I'm searching for something more "low maintenance".

Makeup Revolution have some amazing palettes and their range is growing all the time. The golden sugar blush palette is stunning, I've admired from afar for so long! I even bought it for my mum as one of her Christmas presents, however I've still yet to add it to my collection. Especially with summer creeping up on us, flushed cheeks and shimmering cheekbones will be everywhere and I hope my face will be no exception.

Again because of summer, I've been favouring a much lighter makeup look and with my best friend and fellow blogger, Jasmine Harding (of JasmineHardingMakeup) constantly raving about this, I think I'd love to try the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer. She swears by this with it's medium coverage, lightweight feel and glowy finish it does have all the perfect ingredients to be a holy grail product. I'll keep you posted, as a high street fan parting with that kind of money for one product doesn't appeal but it might be worth the investment.

Something I've had in my wishlist for a long time now is the antipodes, manuka honey mask. It's high in moisturizing properties but also draws out impurities which is great for my blemish prone skin. I've been loving treating my skin to masks recently, I find that by doing more intense treatments I get the best results.

So there's my most wished for products, a mixture of new releases and old favourites. Let me know what products have caught your eye recently?

Xoxo TW
